so i am finally in new york. and i just got my internet working :) it is so nice to have it back! anyways.. so i know you probably want to know how i am liking new york... i actually like it a lot. i mean it is going to take some getting used to and school hasn't actually started yet... but as of now it is fun. there are a lot of nice people here. there are about 500 in my graduating class i think. yesterday i just registered, got my address (if you want to know it, ask me :) and then we had some orientation thing. and today we had speakers in the morning, and then free time during the day which i used to buy all my books for the year. after that we had dinner and then went to listen to more speakers. i miss home a lot but i also know that i will grow, and learn a lot this year. i am so excited to see what God is going to do in my life, and to see the ways He changes me. finally here.
this is my desk, which is right by my bed (there is no pics on the shelf which means you need to send me some) :)
this is where i have all my classes. its a lot bigger than it looks! its really nice in there too.
my "closet" haha.. ya i know. its a lot better than i thought actually. i thought i had way more clothes. and its kinda funny cause i think i was only 1 hanger short and i didn't even count them
my bed. its not as comfortable as my bed at home thats for sure. my back actually kinda hurts haha.. but oh well.. it will due

Finally... we get go along this experience with you. I will anxiously look to see how/what you are doing.
Up until Thursday when you boarded the plane, I had always been there to share in your journeys with you (like it or not), so this is going to take some getting use too. I give you to Him, knowing you are where He wants you.
Enjoy your time there, don't worry about us here, we aren't going anywhere. When your homesick and wondering what we are up to, just remember what I always say when you kids ask me what I'm doing...."I'm doing the same 'ole dance to the same 'ole song, only the day has changed."(translation...laundry,cleaning the bathroom, etc.) :)
Tonight, I drove your car to Andrea's, Cohen met me at the door, saw your car and kept saying "KyKy, KyKy". When I can figure out how to make my blog or get you know who to help me (hint hint JMR) lol, I will post pictures to keep you posted of what is going on here.

Hi Kylie: Your mom just called me to let me know that you have your blog up and running. I enjoyed seeing the pictures you took. It sounds like you will have a good year. We really enjoyed meeting you for lunch on Wed and glad you had a good flight. The Lord is taking care of you. I know that you are where he wants you and he has let me know that in a lot of ways. I miss you a lot but I know that this is where you need to be. I still get tears when I talk about you but they are tears of joy and happiness.
